Yes, free-mixing between men and women is not permitted in Islam. Ibn ‘Abbaas (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Prophet ﷺ say: "No man should be alone with a woman unless there is a mahram present." [Bukhari (5233) and Muslim (1341)]

No 🤦♂️ "A.I. Wali" is not a thing. This is not from Islam, and is the same as free-mixing. There's no difference between this and something like Tinder. AI does not meet the requirements of the wali as set out by the fuqaha. Allah SWT gave the wilaya to the father first, then other male family members if he isn't available. Allah did not appoint AI as a wali. We ask those responsible to fear Allah. No reputable scholar would allow this. More info on the wali in this blog post.
