Built by Muslims who needed it.
Sunni Marriage didn't start with a pitch deck. It started with a brother trying to find a wife halal, and finding nothing that fit.
Sunni Marriage is a Muslim marriage app for practising Muslims seeking nikah, where every conversation includes the sister's wali from the very first message. It's free for sisters.

What we wished existed when we were the ones searching.
The platform we couldn't find.
السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته.
Every Muslim app I tried wanted me to behave like I was on Tinder with a crescent slapped on the logo. Private DMs. No wali. Photos required. Time-wasters everywhere. I knew dozens of brothers and sisters in the same place, serious about marriage, unwilling to compromise on the deen, and quietly being failed by every product built for them.
So we built what we wished existed: a place where the wali is in the chat from message one, where sisters don't have to choose between modesty and a match, where the only outcome the platform is built around is nikah.
“When a person marries, they have completed half of their deen.”The Prophet ﷺ
That hadith isn't a marketing line. It's the design brief. Every screen, every default, every rule on Sunni Marriage is built to make completing the other half of your deen the shortest, cleanest, most barakah-filled path possible.
We're a small team across multiple countries, engineers, writers, builders, every one of us either married through the same kind of process we're building, or still looking. We eat our own cooking.
Five words that shape everything.
Family in the conversation, not outside of it.
Every chat opens with the wali (or the brother's female contact) present. No private DMs. No drift toward fitnah. The framework of how Muslims meet, adapted to the way Muslims actually communicate today.
Built only for those serious about nikah.
We design for one outcome. Brothers pay a small subscription so casual scrolling has a friction cost. Sisters are free, because no sister should pay to be sought. The result is a platform of people who actually want what you want.
Designed around how the Prophet ﷺ guided marriage.
Khadijah (raḍiyallāhu 'anhā) expressed interest first. Marriage is half the deen. No man is alone with a woman but Shaytan is the third. These aren't decorations on our about page, they're the architecture of the product.
No photos for sisters. Stories first.
Sisters' profiles have no photo, and they still get matched, chat freely, and pursue nikah. A photo is shared only in the chat, after a match. What you say about your deen, your goals, and your character matters more than how you look, and the app is built that way.
Your data, your decisions, your dignity.
Selective disclosure. No data sold. No dark patterns engineered to keep you swiping. We treat your information the way a mahram would treat your photo, as something held in trust, never traded.
We're built to put ourselves out of business.
The day you delete the app because you got married is the day we've done our job. We don't measure DAUs. We measure marriages. May Allah ﷻ bless your path, and grant us a quiet, honest part in it.

They're making du'a for you too.
Make your intention and take the first halal step.
